watercolour artists

What artist inspired you to start painting watercolours. ?Mine was Alwyn Crawshaw and he only used three colours mostly and sometimes four. I painted for a while doing just that, ultramarine ,yelow ochre and Alizaron ccrimson and sometimes hookers green.

The reason why watercolour pans and tubes are so small is because the colours are very concentrated and watercolor paints are very diluted befor brushing them on the paper. I have done lots of paint charts for mixes but it is difficult to get the dilution
